Review for Coalminer's Cottage in Gateshead:
Personally, I found the soundproofing in the apartment a bit lacking. However, it's just my opinion, and others may not mind it as much.

As low-budget travelers, we loved the fully furnished and well-equipped apartment at Coalminer's Cottage. The kitchen and living area had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings, and the central heating worked perfectly. The location was convenient, with Gateshead town center only a 10-15 minute walk away and Newcastle Train Station just a 30-minute walk or a quick 3-minute metro ride from Gateshead town. The value for money was excellent, especially when compared to limited bedroom space in B&Bs or hotels. We also appreciated the tea, coffee, and biscuits provided upon our arrival. Saltwell Park, which was just a short walk away, was a lovely place to visit, and the restaurant level of the Baltic was a must for great cocktails and stunning views.
We felt very much at home during our stay and have no complaints.

I keep coming back to this cozy place. They helped me with directions for attractions during my first stay. Perfect for me, with Wi-Fi, off-site parking, dryer, kettle, kitchenware. Coming back for Christmas. No regrets here.

I was pleasantly surprised by the location of the cottage. It is conveniently situated near Saltwell Park, which is worth a visit. the Baltic restaurant also offers great cocktails and stunning views. the cottage itself is well equipped with a fully furnished kitchen and living area. It felt like a cozy and homely space, perfect for a relaxing time with friends or family. the owner has clearly put a lot of effort into making the property comfortable and inviting.
One aspect that could be improved is the distance from the city center. Some guests felt that it was a bit too far from the center of Newcastle.

The flat was super cozy and had everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the vibrant Quayside area and getting our adrenaline pumping at the Pelaw Grange Greyhound Stadium. We had the whole place to ourselves, which meant partying and chilling with our friends all day and night!
The only thing we wished for was a wicked party room to unleash our teenage energy. It would have been rad to have a dedicated space for blasting our tunes and dancing like maniacs!

The Coalminer's Cottage was such a cozy place to stay! The rooms were lovely with a flat-screen TV and satellite channels, perfect for a movie night with friends. The equipped kitchen was a bonus, making it easy to prepare meals. The private bathroom had free toiletries, which was a nice touch. the cottage provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Personally, I would have loved it if the cottage had a bathtub instead of just a shower. But hey, that's just my preference, and I understand others might not mind.
